Changes at Valley Ayurveda

2011-10-10 18:06 by Ann (comments: 0)

There are big changes happening at Valley Ayurveda and our space at 98 Main Street, and we want to fill you in on all the details.

The first big news:  beginning November 1st, the space at 98 Main Street will be converting to a multi-disciplinary clinic for whole health, aptly called CLINIC.  Run by Jennifer Nery, LAc, CLINIC’s aim is to provide accessible, effective, and safe alternative medical care and whole health lifestyle assistance to any individual in the Pioneer Valley interested in achieving or maintaining his or her best health—while placing a priority on environmental and economical sustainability and social justice.  CLINIC’s goal is that it becomes widely known as the place in the Pioneer Valley to go for effective treatment from expert practitioners of alternative medicine.

Importantly:  Valley Ayurveda will continue to live at the same location, but we will become part of this larger group of practitioners.

In many ways, your experience will remain the same.  We'll still offer diet & lifestyle consultations, the full range of Ayurvedic bodywork, workshops and classes. You can still use your gift certificates and packages for services.  You'll still be able to book appointments online.  And everything will continue business-as-usual until after the Autumn Cleanse.

There are a couple of things, however, that will be different.

First, Early Morning Yoga will no longer be offered. The last day of class will be Friday, October 21st.  If you currently have a class card and are not able to use all of your classes between now and then, we will refund the balance of your classes.

Second, Mirelle has been accepted into Dr. Lad's Ayurvedic Studies Level 2 Program, and will be leaving the area for New Mexico at the end of October.

Additionally, Ann will also be leaving the area sometime later this fall.  She will continue to see existing clients between now and October 21st.  Both Ann and Mirelle will be referring their clients to Brooksley, and will work to make sure the transition is as seamless as possible.  Joa and Tim are still in the area and are also available to fill your life with Ayurveda!

We've truly had a glorious year with all of you, but Ayurveda needs a bit more time in this area before it can fill all 2,800 square feet of our space.  We love to think of the space bustling with the healing energy of a wide variety of practitioners, and we welcome the opportunity to be a part of it.

Please let us know if you have questions or concerns.
